Services & Pricing
Three services, one standard of care
Each service is designed around a different starting point — where your watch is now, and where you would like it to be.
← Back to HomeOur Method
How we approach every watch
Before any service begins, we review the watch and share a written assessment. This is not a sales step — it is a genuine look at the piece, describing what we find and what we would recommend. You receive this at no charge, and you are free to take the watch back if you decide not to proceed.
Where we do proceed, the service follows the scope described at the outset. If something unexpected is found mid-service — a cracked jewel, a worn wheel tooth, a damaged crown tube — we stop and contact you before continuing. Nothing proceeds without your agreement.
Every service uses Swiss-grade lubricants applied by calibrated tools. Cleaning uses an ultrasonic bath, not manual scrubbing, to protect surfaces. After assembly, each watch runs for a minimum of 48 hours in the workshop before we consider the work complete.
You receive a written service record covering everything done, any parts replaced, and the timing results before and after. This becomes part of your watch's documented history.
Service One
Gentle Service & Check
An unhurried first service for a watch you would like to wear regularly again. We clean accessible parts, apply fresh lubrication where suitable, regulate the timing gently, and review the seals and crown. A clear, honest note on the watch's condition follows. A calm starting point with no obligation to proceed further.
Process steps
- 01 Photograph and log the watch on arrival
- 02 Record timing before any work begins
- 03 Clean and lubricate accessible components
- 04 Regulate timing gently; record results
- 05 48-hour observation; issue written note
Best for: a watch in reasonable condition that has not been serviced in a while, or one you wish to assess before a fuller service.

Full Movement Service
A complete service for mechanical watches that have drifted from steady timekeeping. The movement is fully disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, and re-oiled with Swiss-grade lubricants. The balance and mainspring are reviewed and replaced if needed. Timing is regulated across multiple positions. Seals are renewed and the crown checked for correct operation.
Process steps
- 01 Photograph and initial timing measurement
- 02 Full movement disassembly, components sorted
- 03 Ultrasonic cleaning cycle; inspection of each part
- 04 Reassembly with fresh lubricants throughout
- 05 Multi-position regulation; 48-hour run; final measurement
Best for: a mechanical watch in regular use whose timekeeping has deteriorated, or one due for its scheduled periodic service.

Service Three
Considered Restoration
A patient restoration for older or meaningful watches. Beyond a complete overhaul, we conserve the case and dial with care, discussing each cosmetic choice with you so nothing is altered without your wish. The original character of the piece is kept intact where possible, and the work is documented throughout. Five to eight weeks.
Process steps
- 01 Detailed photography and condition assessment
- 02 Discussion with owner on cosmetic approach
- 03 Full movement service as above
- 04 Case, crown, and dial conservation work
- 05 Final check, documentation, and owner review
Best for: family heirlooms, vintage pieces with sentimental value, or collectable watches where originality is important.

Across All Services
Standards that do not change
Secure custody
All watches are photographed on arrival and stored securely throughout the service. The workshop is not open to outside visitors during operating hours.
Swiss-grade materials
Lubricants, seals, and cleaning agents are sourced from established European suppliers. No off-grade substitutes are used regardless of service tier.
Timing machine data
Movement rate is measured objectively before and after every service. Results are included in the written documentation returned with the watch.
48-hour observation
Every serviced movement runs for a minimum of 48 hours in the workshop before we sign off. This allows us to observe its behaviour before it is returned to you.
Written documentation
Every service includes a written record of work completed, any parts sourced or replaced, and timing results. This is handed back with the watch.
Direct communication
You communicate directly with the watchmaker throughout. If something requires a decision mid-service, you are contacted before work continues.
